Welcome

The Jesmond Neighbourhood Centre is located in the Hunter Region of New South Wales and is the umbrella organisation, under which a range of diverse programs provide valueable services to the community. As well as the centre's own endeavours to provide support to its local community, sixty-two different social groups operate at the centre, providing outlets for a wide range of community needs and interests.

• To improve the economic well-being and security of people within our community
• To make our community a place in which people connect with each other
• To assist people to participate more fully in strengthening our community and hence build greater community capacity
• To assis our community to become fairer and more accepting with less barriers to joining community life
• To assist people in our community to be well informed and to develop new skills
