Welcome
The Jesmond Neighbourhood Centre is located in the Hunter Region of New South Wales and is the umbrella organisation, under which a range of diverse programs provide valueable services to the community. As well as the centre's own endeavours to provide support to its local community, sixty-two different social groups operate at the centre, providing outlets for a wide range of community needs and interests.

As a professional organisation dedicated to excellence, we have clear objectives for which we aim
- To improve the emotional well-being of people within our community
- To help strengthen family relationships within our community
- To improve the economic well-being and security of people within our community
- To make our community a place in which people connect with each other
- To assist people to participate more fully in strengthening our community and hence build greater community capacity
- To assis our community to become fairer and more accepting with less barriers to joining community life
- To assist people in our community to be well informed and to develop new skills
